We know film cameras are expensive. And, they can up and croak on you at any time. How many times have you clicked the shutter and then heard the sound of the last photo that camera took? Now you’ve been given the opportunity to buy a new camera.

Which one should you get? Can you even find the same one you had? There’s popular models but one of my personal favorites I’ve hardly seen out in the wild.

After many iterations of trial and error I have dialed in my process/sources for scoring deals for film cameras. And I want to share that information with you!

I have found a variety of cameras including, not limited to:

  • Pentax k1000

  • Pentax ME

  • Pentax ME Super

  • Canon ae-1

  • Canon a-1

  • Nikon f100

  • Nikon FG

  • Minolta Freedom 130

  • Pentax IQZoom

  • Pentax 67

  • Leica Minilux Zoom

  • Leica Minilux

  • Yashica T5d

  • Olympus Stylus

  • Olympus CM-10

  • Nikon f100

  • Nikon FG

  • Nikon N65

  • Canon EOS

  • Minox 35GL

  • Yashica-A, C, and D

AND a variety of expired film stocks! Unused film, some no longer in production.

I got this Nikon Fe with a 50mm 1.4 lens for $39.14:

Pentax ME for $5.04
